Reports directly to the CEO and Board of Directors, ensuring compliance with Corporate Governance Rules, the Companies Act 2017, established Board procedures, and applicable SECP/SOE laws and best-practice standards. Oversees the Company's legal affairs, including managing disputes and coordinating with legal counsel.
Member of a recognised body of professional accountants, or a recognised body of corporate/chartered secretaries, or a Master's degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or Law from an HEC-recognised university.
Minimum ten (10) years of relevant professional experience for Master's degree holders. Experience in corporate governance, company secretarial matters, legal affairs, compliance, or with State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) will be considered an advantage.
Manages and oversees overall procurement in a transparent, efficient and professional manner, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules and procurement guidelines, including ADB Procurement Regulations, Sindh Public Procurement Rules, and Public Procurement Rules.
Bachelor's, preferably Master's degree in engineering, management, or a relevant field.
Preferably 10 years' experience in procurement and/or contract administration, including project procurement and contract administration on at least 3 infrastructure or similar projects. Well versed in ADB, World Bank and GoP procurement guidelines for works, goods and services. Minimum general experience: 12 years; minimum specific experience: 10 years. Regional/country experience on a similar project is required. Excellent written and spoken English.
Holds overall responsibility for construction of the Karachi Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) corridor, managing and overseeing the construction process from contractor hiring through final completion, and ensuring the project is completed within the prescribed timeframe, quality and funding parameters.
Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Management or a related discipline, with a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering from an HEC-recognised university. A foreign qualification is an added advantage.
At least 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years as a construction manager. A minimum of 3 years in a similar role, preferably in a similar sector, is highly desirable. Relevant international work experience is an added advantage.
Supports effective HR management, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and policies while strengthening workforce effectiveness, employee engagement and overall operational efficiency.
First Class Master's degree, preferably in Public Administration, HRM, Business Administration, or Industrial Relations.
Minimum 10 years in the relevant field, preferably in a position equivalent to Basic Pay Scale 17 and above in a Government, Semi-Government, or public sector organisation. Experience in urban infrastructure with complex working conditions is preferred, along with a strong track record of drafting HR manuals covering remuneration, training and career programmes.
Supports and carries out procurement functions in a transparent, efficient and professional manner, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules and procurement guidelines, including ADB Procurement Rules, Sindh Public Procurement Rules, and Public Procurement Rules.
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant discipline from an HEC-recognised university. Professional training or certification in procurement is an added advantage.
At least 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience, with demonstrated experience in donor-funded procurement, preferably under ADB Procurement Regulations, and familiarity with SPPRA rules and systems. A minimum of 2 years' experience with the ADB/WB procurement system is highly desirable. Relevant international work experience is an added advantage.
Ensures that all activities planned and implemented by the Company and its projects comply with applicable national and international environmental safeguard requirements.
Master's degree in Environmental Science or a relevant discipline from an HEC-recognised university, or an equivalent qualification. Foreign qualifications are an added advantage.
At least 7 years of post-qualification relevant experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role highly desirable.
