2nd Pakistan International Maritime Expo & Conference (PIMEC 2025)
A team from TransKarachi represented the Karachi BRT Red Line project at the Sindh Mass Transit Authority stall at the 2nd Pakistan International Maritime Expo & Conference (PIMEC 2025), held at Expo Center Karachi to shed light on the themes of sustainable development and a blue economy.
Our representatives highlighted two major components of the BRT Red Line project at the expo; our Biogas project, a climate-action initiative with the capacity to convert 3000 tons of animal waste into clean fuel per day to power our fleet of buses, and our ITS system, an Intelligent Transport System that will be cashless, efficient, and secure, with automatic fare collection and the assurance of smart, accessible travel experiences for the people of Karachi.
